Cocoa Bar in a Jar Fluffy Frosting

Wow is that a mouthful or what?!

Have you guys heard of Cocoa Bar in a Jar? If you love coconut, chocolate, and peanut butter, than you are in for a treat.

I reached out to this company and asked for some samples so I could come up with some a delicious recipe for you guys.

I thought it would pair perfectly with cream cheese, so I created this fluffy cream cheese frosting and added in some cocoa bar in a jar. Super yummy, and not overly sweet. It made the perfect topping for these banana cupcakes.

It’s would be yummy as a cake filling, on top of chocolate cupcakes, or sandwiches between two cookies. I’m drooling thinking about it. Try it out sometime!

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • ¼ cocoa bar in a jar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pint heavy whipping cream


  • Using a whisk attachment on your stand mixer, beat cream cheese, cocoa bar in a jar and powdered sugar until smooth. Scrape down your bowl several times to insure there are no lumps in your frosting.
  • With the mixer on slow, add vanilla and heavy whipping cream and beat until stiff peaks form.
